Electro Festival in Wadi Rum. March 30-31, 2018

An electronic music festival will be held in the desert of Wadi Rum on March 30-31. The project is based on an initiative of Jordanian DJ Shadi Khries in partnership with the local Bedouins. The festival will host traditional music performers from the Bedouin community, as well as Jordanian, French, and German DJs, for 14 hours of music in the stunning atmosphere of the “Martian” desert of Wadi Rum. Artisan products by Bedouin women will be sold at the festival, in an attempt to integrate the visitors with the local culture and traditions.
